Mikve, Shitas Ba'al Hatanya

Apropos of an Areivim discussion (*) that a mikva built to shitas ba'al
haTanya would cause halachic problems, I'd be interested to know the
specifics. I had heard more than once that mikvaos were built to include
as many shitos, even deios yachid, as possible without self-contradiction.

(*) Agav, I find it very satisfying when an Areivim discussion slides
into an Avodah discussion, and we may give ourselves a collective pat
on the back for the tendency. (Reverse slides not considered here <g>)

Unless you specifically accept my chiddush, why is this necessarily true?
If a sheitel violates das yehudis and a hat partially covering the head
violates das yehudis, why does the combination of the two not violate das
yehudis?
