We currently run two projects related to the internet.
We compile a weekly publication of selected divrei Torah on the parashah from around the Internet called "Toras Aish". The newsletter is a Microsoft Word document that can be printed and distributed in shul. Write to the editor, Yitzy Weiss (yitz@aishdas.org) for more information.
Toras Aish is available in four different formats:
| Microsoft Word | Postscript | Adobe Acrobat (pdf) | Unformatted text (one line per paragraph) |
(If you are not sure how your web browser will handle any these file types, try telling it explicitly to download to disk instead of merely clicking on it. For example, on Netscape®, hold down the shift key while clicking on the link.)
To subscribe: Fill out this form if you want to recieve Toras Aish weekly. Sorry, we don't have a mailing list for Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format.
The next issue will become available iy"h Thursday morning.
You could sponsor one week's issue. For US$60 you can support the Torah study of hundreds of people, and lend merit to the memory of a loved one or honor a special occasion. Please let us know at least two weeks in advance.
We set up a mailing list (avodah@aishdas.org) for the discussion of Jewish thought and how it relates to traditional Jewish observance. If you'd like to participate, just email our MajorDomo (majordomo@aishdas.org)
with the message "subscribe avodah email@machine".We put together a Google- or Yahoo-like directory to help you find what is going on on the 'net in terms of Orthodox Torah classes and web sites. Included are forms to help you subscribe to some of the more popular mailing lists, links to archives, etc...
I'd like feedback, in terms of deceased links, or sites you think I ought to include. Thanks in advance.
We've stored past issues of Aspaqlaria, a parashah commentary that focuses on philosophy and our role in life as Jews, excerpts from our mailing list, as well as a few other "documents" related to AishDas's mission.
