I have another subscription. How about getting people to say "shiluach
haken".

Or restoring the rest of the names of parshiyos whose names are also
detatched semichot.
Why is the parashah Shemos, "Names of", but the other is changed
from "BeMidbar", "In the Wilderness of", to "Bamidbar"?
Because the actual name of the parashah was "Shemos BY". Similarly
Parashas "Behar Sinai".
We should choose to either restore the full parashah names, which I am
advoxating, or at least reconjugate the newer shortened names to make
Parashas Sheimos parallel Bamidbar.
(Then there is Parashas Bereishis... It's "Bereishis" but not "Barishonah".
But even in the full text there is no clear object for the semichut to
connect to -- "In the beginning of G-d created the heaven and the earth.")

Subject: [Avodah] AI-EOL
I believe I?ve heard r schachter say that when the family makes the
decision for the patient, they are supposed to make the decision that they
believe the patient himself would have made that situation If that?s the
case, maybe AI would be in a better position than some families.
Interesting to think about.

Yet another one -- getting the Chazan for Mevorkhim haChodesh to call
the months of "Av" and "Marcheshvan" by their real names! Both "Menachem
Av" and "Cheshvan" are people confusing cute pshetlach with peshat.
---
Last, in Qaddish: "... shemeih de-"Qudeshah Berikh Hu'!" Just because
Ashkenaz repeats the "Berukh Hu" doesn't change the fact that the
Chazan is talking about QBH as a sheim Hashem. The Gra says this is
very important, and has to do with Qaddish referring to Zeir Anpin.
But even without Qabbalah, the comma where Chazanim tend to put it
makes the sentence unparsable.

Another one, tangentially provoked by this phrase in Micha's last message:
"... shemeih de-"Qudeshah Berikh Hu'!"
... getting people not to put unnecessary "h"s at the end of transliterated
Hebrew and Aramaic words. You can argue either way when the word ends with
a "he" without mappiq (I have my own strongly held position, others
strongly hold the opposite ve'ein kan makom leha'arich), but what is the
"h" doing in Qudeshah, when the word ends with an "alef"?! Worse still,
when the word ends in an "`ain" -- I have often seen "Shavuah Tov", rahmana
lislan.
